[c=#0000ff]"Rock You Like A Hurricane" alcanzó el número 25 en los Billboard Hot 100 de los EEUU, el vídeo ayudo en gran medida al éxito del álbum. Tras su lanzamiento la canción se convirtió en un hit masivo y popular ahora es considerado como uno de los más influyentes himnos del Rock . Ocupó el cuarto lugar en la lista de los mejores riffs de guitarra de todos los tiempos hecha por la revista Sync en 2006 y el canal VH1 coloco esta canción en el número 31 de su conteo sobre las 40 mejores canciones de metal.
El circuito que se muestra en la ilustración de la caratula del álbum corresponde con el Circuito Permanente de Jerez, situado en España.
Una nueva versión fue grabada en 2000 como "Hurricane2000" en el álbum Moment of Glory, con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlín. De la misma manera, que se tituló "Hurricane2001" cuando se reproduce de forma Acústica.
La letra de "Rock You Like A Hurricane" también hace referencia al título del álbum en el que se encuentra que es Love at First Sting.
La cancion también aparece en el juego Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
